Seeking a job in the multi-media field in NYC. I currently work as a freelance reporter and anchor at NY1 News and Yahoo! Finance. But I have worked in many places and covered a wide breadth of stories. Whether its rodeos in Midland Texas, NYC Fashion Week, Politics in London or Entertainment news in New York, I am a fluid personality.
I am an avid consumer of media- whether its online, on TV or on my smartphone. I am also being avidly consumed by my three children- an 8 year old daughter and toddler identical twin girls! At the same time, I love to break out of my mommy avatar and go to work as a freelancer covering the U.S. markets in the financial capital of the world. - talking to people with brevity, knowledge and a modicum of smart alecness. I'd like my skils to translate to working at any company seeking to expand its video content.
I have a lot to say and trying to figure out the best way to say it- whether its through social media, my website or through TV, so hire me already!

Yesterday, I spent a jam packed, fun filled day in New York City with client meetings and media interviews. Although I don’t enjoy the commute in and out of the city, I do enjoy the hustle and bustle as long as the weather is good since I like to walk as much as I can. I absolutely hate taking dirty, smelly cabs that take forever to get around, but I will hop on the subway when I have to go downtown.
I began my day with the good folks at Yahoo Finance creating three controversial segments. Jeff Macke, my favorite regular host who loves to disagree, ride me and try to get me out of comfort zone was on vacation so Milanee Kapadia filled in and did a masterful job. I really enjoyed chatting with her. She has a way about her interviews that is unique in today’s fast paced environment.
